The visit to the lavender fields was absolutely breathtaking with plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and take photos. We had an amazing experience with our tour guide Paul during our private trip to Aix-en-Provence and the lavender fields. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and well-organized, making the entire day enjoyable and stress-free. He shared fascinating insights about the history, culture, and local traditions of the region and he answered a lot of our questions, which made every stop even more meaningful. Our last day on our trip to Marseille was by far our favorite! Paul took us on a customized tour of Aix-en-Provence, Loumarin, Gordes, and Fountaine-de-Vaucluse. We planned very little in advance for this trip (including researching the area well), and thankfully our concierge at the Hotel Intercontinental booked this tour for us a few days in advance! Paul made the tour so special for us- he taught us all about the history of Provence and walked us around Aix-en-Provence and the villages. He stopped at a Lavender field on the way as well! Paul also called and booked us a table for lunch in Gordes. The scenery was beautiful and we had the most amazing time learning about Provence!! Thank you again!! I highly recommend if you’re planning a trip to Marseille/Provence.
What a fabulous day with Silvio our driver. Visiting Nice, Cannes and Monaco in one day was made achievable!!! Silvio shared interesting insights to each place and we had a nice amount of free time to explore at leisure. It was a long day but great value.

We had a really lovely day trip from Marseille to Aix-en-Provence. Clément was our driver and he was absolutely lovely, really friendly and helpful.
He parked up in Aix and we spent about 2 hours walking around. He told us lots about the history of Aix, including the Romans, the churches, fountains and Cézanne, so it was really interesting and we learnt loads as we went along.
We then had about an hour of free time to have a look around ourselves before heading off to see Montagne Sainte-Victoire, which was lovely to see, especially knowing how much Cézanne painted it.
The trip was a really nice mix of seeing the sights, learning about the history and having some time to ourselves. We didn't feel rushed at all.
Clément was a big part of what made the day so enjoyable. He was such a lovely driver and made us feel really comfortable. We had a great day and would definitely recommend the trip.
